New to the industry or decades of experience, everyone can learn from this basic level course. In this eLearning course you control the schedule, learning at your own pace and in the end, you have the option to take a test and receive a certificate of completion. During the course, you will have the chance to repeat sections as needed for you to gain a full understanding of the material.
Through online interactive training, this course illustrates the fundamental concepts of the wire processing industry. Topics include short overviews of prefeeding, marking, cutting, stripping, sealing, crimping, tinning, stacking, coiling, tying, wire twisting, welding, wire harnessing, and electrical testing.
The course is not intended to provide students with extensive knowledge in these areas but to familiarize them with critical processes by introducing them to the basic concepts in wire processing.
Wire and Cable Foundations is recommended as a prerequisite.
