Visual inspection is the most basic form of crimp quality. Anyone can learn the key points and the only tools needed are your eyes. Once you learn the basics, you will easily recognize defects or if something has gone wrong with the process.
In this course, you will learn all the aspects of visual inspection for both open and closed barrel crimp terminals. We will explore a few scenarios to learn how to make important quality decisions. We will also show a few samples to analyze on your own.
The course is not intended to cover the fundamentals of crimping, crimping methods, processes and products, crimp quality tools and processes, different crimping standards, or how to resolve defects.
